The Interior Ministry (MUP) quoted a doctor as saying that the deaths were "most likely" the result of freezing.

The scene has been investigated but post mortems have not been ordered, the media reported on Friday.

The Higher Public Prosecution in Smederevo has been informed about the case.

The reports said that the bodies were discovered by a neighbor.
