Red Cross warns about "large inflow of migrants"

"The Red Cross of Serbia intensively provides different kinds of assistance to migrants who cross the Macedonian border and arrive in Presevo every day and all day long," Milenovic told Tanjug.

"Over the past ten days, there has been a large inflow of migrants seeking assistance. The aid consists of food and hygiene items," she noted.

According to Milenovic, it is estimated that around 1,000 people turn to the Red Cross on a daily basis, which is one half of those who enter the country. It is also assessed that 70 percent of them are men, 20 percent women and 10 percent children, she added.
