BELGRADE The summer season started at 07:04 CET on Friday on Earth's northern hemisphere, with the daylight lasting 15 hours and 36 minutes. Our planet is at the most distant location in its orbit around the Sun when the warmest season starts for its northern part; our star will reach its highest point today at noon on its apparent path in the sky. On Thursday, the temperature reached 38 degrees centigrade in some places, while 36 degrees have been forecast for Belgrade on Friday.
