The meeting will consider the current issues of the SAA as well as the process of aligning the policy and legislation with the EU, the government said in a statement.

Prior to this, Brnabic will meet with European Commission Vice-President and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federico Mogherini, who will lead the EU delegation at the Council's meeting.

Brnabic and Mogherini will discuss "overall relations between Serbia and the EU and the European integration process of Serbia and the countries of the Western Balkans."

The Serbian delegation will also include head of Serbia's Negotiating Team for EU Accession Tanja Miscevic.

Following the end of the Council session, a joint press conference is planned for Brnabic and Mogherini.
