The Croats completely have the right to outlaw Serbian Cyrillic in Croatia. Serbs settled in the Krajina military frontier of the Austrian Empire as guests, they had no right to separate, you don't invite someone into your house and tolerate them trying to take over part of it as their's. The Serbs turned to separatism, so the Croats now know that they can't be trusted, and react accordingly. Good on the Croats for keeping their country their's.

That's an apology to the Jews. Not to the Serbs. Plus, if they really apologized, they wouldn't have this fascination with the NDH as they do. And they wouldn't use Nazi salutes and ban alphabets. You're not convincing anyone.

Since we are talking about apologizing, and since Serbia would like to have a common remembrance day for all victims, then when will Serbia apologize for all her crimes during the late '90's?

She is taking a proactive role and initiating this good idea of all mourning on the same day, but yet she hasn't apologized for her actions like Germany did. Fair is only fair.

As far as the Cyrillic signs they shouldn't be an issue and everyone should be respected. Eventually this will become a thing of the past and cool heads will prevail.

Croatia apologized many times. Here's just one as an example http://www.haaretz.com/jewish-world/president-of-croatia-apologizes-to-jewish-holocaust-victims-1.413109
I haven't heard Serbia apologizing for everything it did in Croatia in the 90s.

Germany apologized and is a democratic country. Croatia is ignorant and unrepentant of its history. You can't compare the two.

@Willis
Sure, but what does that have to do with today?
Whining to the world about how Croatia was a fascist country in WW2 won't help Serbia cover up it's own crimes on another country's territory.
Maybe you should look up 1991-1995.

Is that what you're trying to tell the world?
By that logic you'd think no countries would have anything to do with Germany.
Give it a rest.
