Seriously, are you that thick?
I was posing questions about how America would feel if someone would not allow parts of their country to remain with them. Did I actually say that California should go?
Do you have problems with comprehension?
How do you discuss things with people who are so thick but think they are clever or understand what is said but distort in order to make the other person look silly, thereby making themselves look stupid?
Icj, you are one of the thickest people on this site. Please don't make thing worse for yourself.

New Balkans London Conference needs to be held in 2013, the 100yr anniversary of the travesty of the 1913 Balkans London Conference.

#1 Bosnia needs to split from Croatian and Serbian part and join with Sandzak (majority Bosnian Muslims) of Serbia and Montenegro.

#2 Croatia gets Croat part of Bosnia

#3 Serbia gets Serb part of Bosnia

#4 Serbia gets North Kosovo

#5 Serbia gets Northeast part of Macedonia (FYROM)

#6 Kosovo gets Southwest Serbia 3 municipalities (Albanian Majority).

#7 Kosovo gets Northwest part of Macedonia (FYROM) and 25% of Skopije

#8 Albania gets Ulcin (Majority Albanian) from Montenegro

#9 Albania gets Southwest part of Macedonia (FYROM) (Majority Albanian)

#10 Bulgaria gets 40% of Eastern Macedonia (FYROM)

#11 Greece gets 20% of Southern Macedonia (FYROM) in exchange for Chameria to Albania.

#12 (FYROM) ceases to exist Problem solved for everyone in the Balkans.

Where does it say that a Serb will not allow change of borders? The Serb is merely telling us what the US has so obviously stated previously.
Maybe it's you who should brush up on English.

Rocky from KosovO

first thing, Kosovo is not yours, it never has been and eventually you will be ejected and for keeps next time.

Also you have no claim on any other part of Serbia, I will include Macedonia and Monte Negro in that statement aswell. You and your fellow albanians are a bunch of dreamers who believe that you can claim any part of the Balkans as your own. Carry on pushing your luck and you'll also end up losing albania itself. Listen good cocky rocky, your US friends are not interested in you people, they have an hidden agenda and that will come unstuck soon enough. When it does they'll drop you lot like a sack of rubbish and then what you gonna do rocky me boy??? Sweet nothing period.

so you are saying that Kosovo may have to continue course with the Ahtisaari plan and their constitution which has most of that in it?
(a New Day, 24 September 2012 09:20)

Pretty much. And yes I agree that most Serbs probably never read the AP. They probably asked "does this lead to independence? It does? Well then screw the whole thing", which is silly because it gives Serbs in Kosovo more of an opportunity to handle their own affairs than Belgrade would give them if Kosovo were part of Serbia. But Albanians equally hate AP because it's a a constant reminder that "Kosova" is really "Kosovo" to the rest of the world and that the price for independence is basically no hope for sovereign stability because the Serbs can run virtually parallel lives. Now I'm no fan of an independent Kosovo and I giggle every time I read of some slip up. But at the same time, I also realize the West is going to push for a solution over Kosovo via the AP, so if our leaders in Belgrade were smart (which they're not), they could totally clean house and get everything they want in Kosovo by pushing for an enhanced AP which "recognizes" Kosovo in return for upgrading Serb municipalities to an RS-level. Instead we're going to push for partition, which undercuts our own interests and people. Pristina should be overjoyed that's still seriously considered in Belgrade. The minute my government wants to seriously discuss Kosovo via the AP model is the minute Pristina needs to really start worrying.

USA knows for what is speaking about. USA is a fair arbiter of Balkan. We Balkan people see only our basin they see all the basins. Especially in Balkan they have a success story, different from Afghanistan for example. The situation after 1999 War is better in Kosova, Serbia and entire Balkan. As Albanian I’m in favor of changing the border of entire Balkan. Albanian, Hungarian, Slavomacedonian are the loosers of current situation of borders, Serbs and Greeks are the winners. We need all to see if in London Conference of 1913 the borders were set in fair way or some nation privileged by powerful Russia at that time grab other nations land. Let’s study carefully the files of London 1913 first.

U.S. won’t allow change of borders in Balkans, analyst says
--
Well, not entirely true, the US will only change borders to the detriment of Serbians. So far, this policy has lead to the genocide of Serbs in Croatia for the second time in recent history. First with the NAZIs and the second with the US of A.

It has created a non-functioning and divided country call BiH, where Muslim extremists thrive and even attack Americans.

It is assisting the genocide by K*-Albanians against Serbians and other non-Albanians, which has been ongoing for over 100 years now. It is attempting to change the border of Serbia and create a non-entity thriving on terrorism, organ trafficking, people and drug smuggling.

In reality, we can see what US stubbornness has done to this world. We can see it in Palestine, ex-Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, etc... As such the US, quite simply, continues to export violence...

Glenn

pre 11 godina

While the USA does not want any border changes, I think they will, in fact, allow it to happen. Currently, we (the USA) are just positioning things. If we said, "sure, go ahead and divide Kosovo," then Serbia would say that they will not recognize Kosovo. By the USA saying partitioning of Kosovo is impossible, Serbia can keep pushing for it, and when the partition happens, they can recognize Kosovo and still feel like they "won" something.

Balkan Anthropologist

pre 11 godina

Ok so no "border" changes. I guess "Kosova" is going to have to resolve itself to the reality of an unavoidable autonomous north that maintains direct and unobstructed links to Belgrade. Let's also add the expected incentives the West will additionally provide such as special economic development and investment to the north, continued funding for Serb-dominant municipalities south of the Ibar, and continued support for Serbian Orthodox monasteries like Decani, Pec, Gracanica, and Ljeviska directly from the EU and the UN all for the sake of maintaining some semblance of multiethnicity and multiculturalism in this "state" designed by committee that no one on the ground wanted or envisioned.

Yes yes, a territorially united Kosovo will continue to be a major headache for all those Albanians trying to convince the world it's theirs and theirs alone to rule. By all means Washington, keep this damn thing together by any and all means for the sake of "stability" and "peace". The perks given to Serbs as concessions in return for propping up the facade of "independence" can only get better and better over time. Hey, if we drop calls for partition, can we get some new municipalities to run in Klina and Zac too? Heaven help the Albanians if Serbia ever considers recognizing - we'll probably be given permission and money to continue building that wonderfully large cathedral in downtown Pristina and finally put up the Vidovdan Temple in Kosovo Polje :)

U.S. won’t allow change of borders in Balkans, analyst says
--
Well, not entirely true, the US will only change borders to the detriment of Serbians.

This is part of a speech made by the then US Ambassador to South Vietnam just about 4 months before the Communists took over – 1974.

'Serbia can just say...no. What is the USA going to bomb Serbia for not verifying the occupation?..."

Ari,

I was talking about "American English" not slang English...In other words you are not active reading/listening because you still keep on talking about "occupation". Do you know the meaning of the word? I can assist you if you like but will ask B92 to charge you for that and donate the money on my behalf.....))))

Serbia can say no to formally recognise Kosovo independence but the Serbian citizens might be require them to que for a visa to travel outside Serbia in the future....just a simple example....)))))

U.S. won’t allow change of borders in Balkans, analyst says
--
Well, not entirely true, the US will only change borders to the detriment of Serbians.

Just makes me wonder if the whole world is America's personal property.
How can they allow anything when they don't own the Balkans?
Who are they to allow or not allow anything? How about we say that we won't allow Texas to remain within the US borders?
Maybe California should be let go and we won't allow any negotiation about that?
THEY WON'T ALLOW!!!! That is the most arrogant statement yet. Serbia should just say that they won't allow her visa in.

Serbia' economy will continue to deteriorate if she contunuies with these anti-democratic, policies. Kosova on the other hand, contunuies to get stronger by the day! Her support by the most powerful democratic nations on earth gets stronger & stronger! Kosova's economy while still small & under developed, show's, sign's of improvement by the day! The security force of Kosova, the KSF also by the day gets stronger & more sophisticated with training & weaponry, NATO member"

You people are so arrogant and so far up your own a***s that you don't realise just how many nations despise you. You people will end up with no friends with lying corrupt leaders like the ones you have had in power for the past few decades and of course your evil foriegn policies.

Your current secretary of state is a known liar, your president is trying to destroy the American constitution and take your own freedoms away from you, and you can't see it. You are fed on lies and propaganda by your own state controled media, the land of the free and the brave my eye!! The land of the oppressed and the land of the slave is what your current government is trying to make of you, wake up!!

Do you have any idea at all just how many innocent people your country has murdered this last decade plus?? do you actually know that it is your bloody country that is responsible for the chaos in several countries.

New Balkans London Conference needs to be held in 2013, the 100yr anniversary of the travesty of the 1913 Balkans London Conference.

#2 Croatia gets Croat part of Bosnia

#3 Serbia gets Serb part of Bosnia

#4 Serbia gets North Kosovo

#5 Serbia gets Northeast part of Macedonia (FYROM)

#6 Kosovo gets Southwest Serbia 3 municipalities (Albanian Majority).

#7 Kosovo gets Northwest part of Macedonia (FYROM) and 25% of Skopije

#8 Albania gets Ulcin (Majority Albanian) from Montenegro

#9 Albania gets Southwest part of Macedonia (FYROM) (Majority Albanian)

#10 Bulgaria gets 40% of Eastern Macedonia (FYROM)

#11 Greece gets 20% of Southern Macedonia (FYROM) in exchange for Chameria to Albania.

#12 (FYROM) ceases to exist Problem solved for everyone in the Balkans.

so you are saying that Kosovo may have to continue course with the Ahtisaari plan and their constitution which has most of that in it?
