Mirel, you forgot one major thing. And that is that GDP per capita is not a good indicator of how good one lives. Have you forgotten the enormous inequality? Median wage is a better indicator. In the US it has been falling for a long time. You also forget that there is more potential/use out of closer ties with the developing world because they have far more room for growth than the West has. Don't worry that much for albanians mate. I don't really see the risks. Macedonia is half albanian and its military not worth mentioning it. As for Greece, at this time, I don't think that they have an oil-gallon left for their tanks and are just pigeons Turks can shoot at whenever they wish.
