As for 1244, indeed there is no mention of North or South. But if you are referring to that resolution anyways (which (to my knowledge) to date is still the only legal mandate regarding Kosovo), it does mention Kosovo being a UN administered zone within the sovereign territory of Serbia.
Ergo, if anything, the Kosovo state is still illegal. No matter how many countries recognize it. Either by personal interests, bribes (some call it lobbying) or just to cover their asses for past mistakes.
Message is clear: STOP causing problems for neighbors (Crna Gora, Bosnia, Kosova) or else...No EO and NATO reinforcements are coming. With all the EU problems, they don't need another one.

The current problems in Kosovo are the result of a carefully planned response by America and its Client in Pristina that was unnecessarily and deliberately engineered, and used the Illegal Custom Stamps of the Kosovo Albanians are their pretext.
There will be differing levels of conjecture concerning Tadic and Company part of the supposedly surprise plan, because Tadic and Company know that they must give Kosovo away, even though America Euphemistically refers to this as Serbia having Good Relations with other Europeans.
It appears that it is Only Serbia and the Serbian People who are Obligated to practice Good Relations with other Europeans, and even while other Europeans are committing decades long Physical, Economic, and Cultural Genocide of the Serbian People.
Is there no end to these demands from the USA/EU etc? Who the hell do they think they are? I would tell them that Serbia will not consider joining the EU unless the illegal Southern part of Kososvo is fully integrated back into Serbia. Don't sell your country for membership of the EU, the EU is a mess and once in, it will be difficult to get out. They won't give us a vote in the UK on the EU because they know most people do not support it, Serbs at least still have a choice.Look at Ireland- voted against the Lisbon treaty- wrong result- threats , blackmail and another vote until they said yes, didn't help them much though did it. The EU beaurocrates slyly bring in more and more laws destroying any democracy, and the rest is destroyed by the MFI and the banks-look at the Greeks as an example of your possible future in the EU. Your country will be destroyed, your resources, fertile lands and companies taken over by American, German and others and then goods etc sold back to you at massive increases. The EU needs you more than you need them, they can't have a free country in the heart of Europe, they want to swallow you. Please think long and hard Serbs about the EU, Germany, France, USA and unfortunatley the UK are friends to no-one except their own interests- you look after your own interests Serbia and I doubt it's with the EU.

I didn't know that US, has a policy in the EU that decides what countries can be memeber of EU or not.
I really hope that in the next month both Italy and Spain will default in their debt and that their bancrupcy will in the end destroy Germany and that would be the end of this political experiment called EU.

Back to the war arena now: PEN, name one battle that Serbia has won in the last 500 years. I guess that is why you had to revert to celebrating your defeats because you could not find one single victory to celebrate?
Read a bit on the battles that occurred in Kosovo in 1999, check the outcome of those where the firepower between the KLA forces and the Serbian forces was in par (read about Koshare for example). Educate yourself a bit PEN.

And you knowingly and intentionally chose to ignore what took place before NATO moved in. Typical Serb mentality, pick the part of history that suits you and pretend to be completely oblivious to parts you don’t like. PEN, Serbia apologised to Bosnia for crimes, Serbia apologised to Croatia for crimes it committed there.
This should tell you something… I hope.
Guess what PEN, Serbia will one day apologise to Kosovo for the crimes it committed there.
You can choose to forget history but it will sooner or latter hit you in the forehead.
If any of you cared even 1% about what happens to Serbs in Kosovo you would look at the things differently.
Think this way.
- Serbs in the north of Kosovo are not accounted for in Serbia (basically they are aliens to them)
- Serbs in the North of Kosovo with the guidance from Belgrade do not want to participate in Kosovo government.
Things seem to look quite rosy for them don’t they, neither here nor there.
One more note:
Serbia used the same logic in Bosnia and Croatia.
It kept pouring fuel on burning fire and then sold them out.
I have a sneaky feeling that the same future awaits Serbs in Kosovo if this continues.

There's nothing lost about Kosovo at all. There remains, despite the best efforts of the albanians, a sizeable Serbian presence there both in the north and in the enclaves particularly Gracanica. There has always been a Serbian community in Kosovo, as evidenced by the substantial number of churches and monasteries. Kosovo's Serb history goes back millenia. The only thing that's lost and embarrassing is you refering to yourself as 'Greateralbanian' always a rascist concept, especially given what took place in Kosovo after NATO moved in.
So Gjerj Fishta the Serbs in the rest of Serbia don't care about the Serbs of Kosovo, but naturally you Albanians do. Let's look at how you care for the wellbeing of Kosovo's Serbs. You burn their monasteries. Use their vandalised churches as toilets and film it for the entertainment of your twisted compatriates. Desecrate their cemeteries. Murder teenagers in bars and rivers. Attack old and vulnerable people in their homes. I don't think we need to go on. You get the picture. You and your pals the Croats used the West to fight your battles for you. You keep going on about how Serbia lost all her wars. Perhaps. But not against you or the rest of them. That's what really bothers you. If you were content with your 'Kosova' creation and your glorious singlehanded victory, you wouldn't be trawling Serbian websites.
As I recall Gjerj Fishta Serbia was on the winning side in TWO WORLD WARS. A small fact I know, but it must count for something even in your estimation. I also recall Serbia being on the winning side in two BALKAN WARS. Serbia didn't join sides through expediancy watching from the side lines which way the tide of battle turned. She fought through conviction and for the right reasons. And paid the price for it. That probably doesn't mean much to you and your friends. You'd latch on to whoever came by. You and I could argue forever. So we'll agree to disagree.
They can demand what they like but legally under EU law their demands are BS as long as there are 5 member states that do not recognize the mafia infested territory controlled by Pristina. These officials are abusing any authority they think they have in the hope that Belgrade will jump through another hoop for them. If that is their biggest threat, then they have nothing. They can't use KFOR, they can't use NATO because serb protests are demonstrably peaceful, so they are trying this old schtick. That is all they have left at the bottom of their barrel.
Note, they have not said that they will block Serbia's bid for Candidacy Status. Serbia wouldn't be able to join the EU for at least another 8 years so Belgrade has plenty of time on its hands, Pristina doesn't. Still advantage Belgrade.
Why do would anyone, let alone Serbia, want to join the EU at the moment?
Tadic is like that kid in every American High School TV series who gets bullied but still dreams of ditching his real friends to hang out with the bullies one day.
Then no more eu efforts. If they are going to break their promises, then why deal with them? I can never understand why the eu follows america like a slave dog. america created the worldwide economic crisis; america cannot afford to bail-out the eu; america pushes eu countries into its foreign adventures (Afghanistan and Libya) and the eu still follows america like a zombie. Just don't expect that surrender will help. If Serbia surrenders on some issues they will simply come up with new ones. In the US one can score political points by attacking Serbia (or Russia or Cuba) and by supporting Kosovo. It doesn't matter how reasonable the attack is as most Americans know next to nothing of the Balkans. Solving the Kosovo status will very probably not end this. They might just continue to pressure Serbia on Bosnia or the ICJ conflict with Croatia.
. It's quite obvious the Serbs are spoiling for a fight. It is only a matter of time that they will succeed in provoking the Albanians and NATO to respond to their violent attempts to destabilize the region. I often wonder why Serbia thinks they can succeed, after losing virtually all the conflicts it has been involved in during the last twenty years. Surely this belligerant attitude displayed by the Serbs has been very costly for the average Serb on many fronts.

If no one has told you here it is mate. NATO is dead as the Dodo bird – look at it success; Afghanistan – failure; Libya – failure, in fact this is the 5 month of action against the Old colonel and there has been no a micro millimetre gained. In fact there have been reversals, but the west does not like to dwell on that aspect nor tell its people.

A question was recently asked, why is the US/EU not helping in the Arab spring movement as its turning into a mess where Islamist are taking over in Tunisia, and other Arab countries now have people in power that even the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood call extremists? The answer was very simple the US/EU does not have the money or power to lift a finger. Have you ever wondered why Israel is now talking about agreeing on 1967 borders with the Palestinians? It’s petrified that the US is declining as a power very fast.
Music to my ears...more hoops to jump through means Serbia not joining this disorganization. Who in their right minds wants to enslave their nation to Brussels? The implosion of the EU (and hopefully NATO too) is gonna be historic, and much to my delight..and I venture to guess...to many others as well.
