" I wouldn´t count on chinese support forever" one smart little k-albanian wrote here... =)

it´s hilarious, now they are just copying what they´ve been told about the US of A!

I have always said that the US are known for having let down their "friends" and "allies" for more than half a dozen times in the last century... and all what this albanian can come up with is to warn us about China?

what a joke!

listen, boy! of course you cannot count on eternal support from anyone at all! ...but that is not the point here.

the point is, that it is much more likely to be the US letting you down, than China forgetting about Serbia.

and who knows, how quick this will happen...we will see! just today I read an article written by a stratfor-analyst, ...and if that is true, that the Visegrad-group is forming some kind of an own security-alliance, then the mighty US of A are losing grip much quicker than I have expected. let´s just see what future brings, my dear k-albanian friends! I am quite confident, Serbia will prevail.

here the article I read today:

"The only thing China has against Kosovo is the "unilateral"part, once Serbia no longer actively objects China could care less."
(pss, 16 May 2011 00:01)

That's what I meant. When Kosovo and Serbian politicians one day will become reasonable, go back to real negotiations, give up their stands of 'Kosovo is Serbia' and 'Kosovo is independent and we won't discuss our territorial integrity (funny argument for a split-off state created by violating territorial integrity of another state, btw.)' and they will come to a solution (which can, in my opinion, only be a split), the China won't have a problem with an independent Kosovo, and it shouln't be a problem for the remaining 5 EU memebre states neither to recognize a bilaterally independent Kosovo.

"No one is seriously talking about any type of autonomy for Kosovo, it is only for the north of Kosovo."
(pss, 16 May 2011 00:01)
And no one can seriously think of 'autonomy for the north'. Why should Serbs in the North should be satisfied with 'autonomy' within Kosovo when Albanians are nto satisfied with autonomy within Serbia? No, a full paritition will be the solution.

If you've been reading B-92 lately, it appears that some reasonable individuals are finally coming around to the idea of a partition. If Kosovo is divided equitably, I can see Serbia recognizing Kosovo's Albanian state and then Kosovo's Albanian state joining the UN. Without compromise, nothing will happen. Albanians must compromise. The problem is that you are listening to the US and the US hates to compromise. Unlike the US, however, Kosovo isn't a world power. The US doesn't have to compromise, Kosovo's Albanian government does. Compromise and you will eventually get what you want.

"I wouldn't count on Chinese support forever. Look at what happened at the ICJ - the Chinese judge left before the vote, with no separate opinion upholding Serbia's arguments. Maybe the Chinese decided they didn't want to link their claims to Taiwan with Serbia's weaker claim to Kosovo?
(Amer, 15 May 2011 22:44) "

Firstly that Chinese judge doesn't represent Beijing. Secondly, the ICJ advisory is a non-binding opinion. Thirdly it ain't just Taiwan that worried the Chinese, there's Sinkiang and Tibet too. Finally, why don't Pristina put the Chinese to the test by applying for UN entry? My money will be on that Pristina dare not because it knows what the outcome will be.

"Hoxhaj and the UN head spoke in New York about possibilities of Kosovo joining international, political, financial, cultural and sports organizations."

They can speak about it (with Hoxhaij being a guest/visitor at the UN), but it should be crystal clear to everyone that China, as a veto power, will never allow an unilaterally split-off Kosovo to become an UN member, just like for Taiwan.
(Top, 15 May 2011 16:32)
The only thing China has against Kosovo is the "unilateral"part, once Serbia no longer actively objects China could care less. If you have read the news of late, I think it has been established that Serbia is ready to remove that objection, it is just what kind of partition of the north is enough to satisfy. A full partition or a technical partition.

Talk about Mission impossible!!

Kosovo’s goal - To stop being the poorest criminally run entity on the planet.
Slightly more realistic, however this is equally impossible

What a funny story - a loser commiserating with another loser. Since your gangster buddies can't intimidate Russia or China, UN membership is just another one of your drug-induced dreams. As for banned key moonie, his term is expiring soon. I wonder if they found your heroin on that imf banker they arrested.

Serbia get's EU membership when they are ready to recognize Kosovo so Kosovo can get UN membership.

In other words when Serbia is ready for EU then Kosovo is ready for UN.

Hopefully both countrys will get what they want !

Aim for the stars! HAHAHAHAHA...

What you will get is less spectacular. We flooded the streets of europe with beggars and thiefs, Kosovo will likewize be drained of it´s hopeless citizens much like they flooded Kosovo from Albania 10 years ago. Making way for returning serbs.

How will you become UN member if you dont even want to talk with Serbia? everything costs, how much will you ''pay'' for UN membership, and recognizition from Spain, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia and over 100 countries?
