Serbia was granted visa liberalization on a quicker basis to encourage movement on the Kosovo issue no other reason. There was also another reason, the separation of Serbia and Kosovo, knowing that Serbia would stop short of saying Kosovo is Serbia so it is all or none.
Besides visa liberalization is less than a year old, way to soon to have bragging rights that Serbia is so much better than the ones who don't.

I wonder why neither Kosovo nor Albanian has White Schengen? If they can't even get that, joining the EU is mission impossible. Serbia was concidered a rougue nation not long ago. Yet they have managed to acheive great success in a short period of time. Albania and Bosnia are stuck in no mans land. Albania looks the same as it has for 100 years, if not more. Let's not even talk about the "dependent state of Kosovo". The biggest failure in human history.

Tadic doesn't even want to go near this one. He knows there will be no EU without finding Mladic. The Dutch have said it over and over and yet he keeps lying to Serbia.

EU or no EU a wise goverment should concentrate better to improve the standart of living to its citizens by creating more jobs. Sure there shuold be a solution to most problems starting by reducing airfares and the monopoly to be more competitive and promote better tuorism to your beautiful country. Apart other things this is the least it could do. in the meantime Serbia does not need to be in EU or with any one else to do such.

It seems RUS wants us in the EU but isn't saying it directly even though they were quite direct about not joining NATO. Why be ambiguous & seemingly covert? RUS has big plans for the EU, plans that Serbia, Slovakia and soon Ukraine & Belorussia will all be an integral part of
My guess: 2018-2020. Other guesses?

So the DS say it could happen as early as 2014 and the DSS are saying it could happen as late as 2035. My guess is it won't ever happen.
