What they should have done is given his helpers short bread biscuits and then followed the crumbs to Ratko Mladic. Please give me strength!

Has Mladic now run out of helpers? The people arrested were not interrogated? Is there a 2nd line of helpers, a third? How can one man have such so many lines of defence?

sanctions lifted, why should the U.S. do it and continue to allow politicians in Belgrade to defend the guy for political points?

Amer, unfortunately the instructions NOT to arrest him was given by some foreing powers....
Sooner or later the truth will come out, it's just a matter of time.
This Guy HAS to end up in jail for what he has been doing, but so should the one that masterminded this all mess and it is becoming clearer everyday that the US and some EU countries have their hands covered with blood too!

I didn't know that Richard Holbrooke and members of the CIA were being arrested...

'Mladic was travelling freely around BiH for years in front of the US military but they were instructed not to arrest him. Check [link]

Are you implying that this was a secret? The U.S. was not going to risk its soldiers when it was the responsibility of the Serbs to arrest Mladic. After all, it was Serbia that had to prove it was complying with the Hague in order to have sanctions lifted, why should the U.S. do it and continue to allow politicians in Belgrade to defend the guy for political points?

Zoran, this article contains a classic mistake.
It uses the term "criminal" deliberately at will, which is yet another sign of the multiple standards so frequently met in the yugoslav wars.
I hate to hear this word from the nation who broke any possible international law in the last 20 years.

Right you are Zoran, this was also confirmed to me by a dutch diplomat friend who was mentioning his personal frustration in seeing all this mess!
God luck to all the truth seekeers!
