Fresh trouble in K. Mitrovica settlement

Several hundred Serbs gathered to protest because the houses were being renovated without the consent of Serbs, and because "Albanian houses get rebuilt much more".

Eight hundred thousand Albanians were displaced during the ’99 war. Entire villages were burnt to the ground. The rebuilding needs to take place proportionally.

Well look who's talking! How many Serb homes and churches did you and your countrymen burn down? But I guess rebuilding the homes of Albanians is more important then rebuilding the homes of Serbs. The Serbs are clearly against any sort of reconciliation. They need to realise that a multi-ethnic Kosova can and will exist with or without the Serbs. If they do not wish to participate, it’s their loss.

I think you are calculating things wrong. If we put things on scale who did what and who did more, you should be able to know the final results.
As for Romas, please try to treat your own Romas as human beings in middle of Belgrade, and stop lecturing others.

This is just another exercise for Kosovo Police and EULEX police, nothign else.

Why push the return of Albanians to North Mitrovica when the 200,000 Serbs ethnically cleansed form south of the Ibar have no chance of returning. To add insult to injury the international community has assisted terorists to take over all the Serbs properties and land throughout Kosovo. EULEX is just continuing the same bias and prejudice as UNMIK had, staffed by incompetent fools who have no idea where they are. Shame on the EU and UN.

Serbia is being very smart in using K-Serbs to destabilize Kosovo. Where the is no stability, there is no economic progress and Serbia is hoping to crack the Albanian will through missery.

Although I think they only create more conflict, Albanians must not fall for it.

Do not build the damn homes, who cares, move somewhere else, build a stable society, state and government so it's safe to invest and do business.

Serbia will never stop this, you should not play their game.

These attempts to wipe out Serbs from their Holy Land will never stop from the albanian side. The only way to stop them is to send in Serb military/police to appply law and order. Those albanian houses were built illegally to begin with. I doubt they got any permits before they were built. In Pristina fresh albanians from albania made homes by turning tunnels (on ground level) into their new homes - tunnels that divide buildings. After this to get to one side you have to walk all the way around big complexes thanks to albanians. Basically they built homes anywhere without asking anyone.

Regarding the incident, it is a sensitive issue, and it is not possible to settle it so easy. Not without concessions from BOTH sides.

This decision it clearly states that the Albanian side must give proof of ownership, gather documentation and have approval that will be evaluated for security before passing a decision on the reconstruction of homes and the cleaning of the area. However,

Proof of ownership..... easy just come in force to the place and pretend it is yours, ask your masters to give you a blessing, you know how to do it by now!!

This all farce just show one more time that this place is simply centuries away of any normal living...

I think it's time for KPS to catch those responsible for these ugly actions, do serbs in northern part of Mitrovica know that they were being recorded?, I'm sure they'll be picked up and sent to the police station.
