Ok minister Bogdanovic, if people that say in Africa don't have, not just electrisity nor the posts to transfer electricsity to that village, does that mean it's a human right violation.
Last year I was in Kosovo, the electrisity was cut several times per day, also I couldn't watch 90 minute straight soccer Europe Cup.

Andy,
I already wrote about this subject.
But, I will post again just to try to clarify things.

This so-called thesis "no money - no electricity" Albanian posters eagerly trying to implement here, is just a plain fraud. It doesn't have anything with economy but it is pure political matter.

„Unpaid bills“ cry is not about money. It is about CONTRACT that Serbs MUST SIGN with KEK if they were to get electricity.

That is the SOLE condition! Not paying the bills.

And in that contract there is a clause which states - anyone who signs that contract accepts independence of Kosovo and its albanian government. So, that's the main problem.

If it were just for the unpaid bills, there will be no problems. Serbian government will pay those bills at once. But, Albanians are not interested in money, no. They are interested in subjugating Serb people into the obedience.

And they’re implementing their intention on the most brutal, violent and inhumane way.

Andy

These "bills" that are not being paid. Has anyone received them? how were they calculated? if it is read from a meter, how was that calibrated or serviced in the last 10+ years? Who was the contract with? which law applies? what consumer rights are there? is there unfair terms legislation? can they appeal? which court has jurisdiction? is there a right to appeal to an international court? is there a monopoly? how is the price set? is there an independent regulator? does the Convention on Human Rights apply? is there a fair and public trial? who "lawfully" owns KEK? is the UDI legal? if it is, what civil law applied before?

Remember, in most western legal systems the burden of proof is on the claimant, KEK.

This is just one of the non violent battlegrounds connected with the UDI. And the world is watching, will the purported Rep. of Kosovo hold firm in its new found western ideals or will it resort irresponsible actions?

Nemanja,

I've worked in Kosovo for 4 months last summer in Prishtina and personally i've seen electricity being cut off to the pole at Albanian residences and businesses because their bills were not payed so anyone who says otherwise it's clear that they want it to be a political problem.

Nemanja, Connecticut

With a +60% unemployment rate, I have a very difficult time believing that its just the Serbs in Kosovo that are not paying their electrical bills.

Why is there no electricity for Serbs but it exists for the Albanians?

The handouts that my country as well as some in the EU provide should go towards helping all the people of Kosovo and not just the Albanians.

Albanians can't tell the Serbs to "pay the bills" when either they're not paying their bills or they receive aid from other countries that shouldn't be exploited for political gain.

"The minister added, however, that he himself did not pay for electricity."

Ok, I was with the minister up to this point. But if he doesn't pay, and the Serbs whose power is cut don't pay, and the vast majority of Albanians probably don't pay, then what's the point? That KEK randomly chooses people and places to hustle? That Boganovic can get away with it but the Serb family can't?

Now I'm quite sure Bogdanovic is on Belgrade's grid or at the very least pays KEK to look the other way, but for God's sakes man, if you're going to point out the dysfunctionality of this KEK fiasco, you DON'T say you're not paying bills either! Or at the absolute least you say you're on Belgrade's grid!

I love the fact that some people in their rightfull mind put electricity as a human right violation.

as far as i am conerned there should be no electricity for anyone who doesnt pay the bill regardless of what if you are a minority or not.

Again I’m totally confused but maybe I just don’t understand your part of Europe.

Is it being said that KEK do not know which individuals used electricity and how much? They then say that a community or area owes them money. They choose to make an ethnic group or community responsible for the consumption of electricity by individuals, they flame ethnic tensions and make accusations that they cannot prove. Or am I missing something? Because if I’m right in what I say then this is an affront to a just and proper system of law. If they do not know the “legal person” who owes them money and if they cannot prove how much then they cannot and should not succeed in a proper court of law. They have no case.

In those circumstances then it is totally disgraceful that they make allegations against a group of people whether that is a village or an ethnic group. To come out and say “Serbs owe us £x” is political. If they have the right of action against any individual why don’t they sue for the alleged debt?

In particular, the minister is challenging KEK to sue him. So go on. Give the proof of exactly what the debt is.

Have you even considered the possibility that as a Serbian Government Minister, he get's his electricity paid for by the state, & that the Serb minister for KiM doesn't neccessarily live IN Kosovo?

Jeez!

What you mean to say is let's not talk about the Human Right's violations inherrent in cutting supply to entire communities - including hospitals & schools.

Bogdanović doesn't pay for electricity?! He should be arrested for that. Yes 'minister', you heard me right, that's THEFT and you’re encouraging others to do the same. All those excuses we’ve heard so far that people can't afford to pay, the estimates are wrong, the stamp is to bright etc... are just the kind of argument a guilty party would use.

Not paying electricity is violating the law. It's a criminal act. How would you feel if I came to your store and took food without paying anything ?

It's a shame that you don't pay electricity in the heart of Europe Mr. Bogdanovic. We are not in Africa.

In Sweden where I live they would cut the electricity the same moment I woulden't pay. And it woulden't be restored before I would pay it.
