There is a song:
"America and Graet Britany will be countries of proleters". Can you see it is coming? He, he, Kosovo was occupied many times and survived, our monuments were built and destroyed many times but they are still there talking about history.

"The situation for Serbs today is different, we have opened all the doors for them to be active in every aspect of the daily life. Hence you cannot draw any comparison to the paralel institutions of the Albanians then and the Serbs now!"

Of course I can. Albanians were given the same opportunities of employment and opportunity, as long as they bought into the system. Of course this meant being seen as a traitor by the rest of the Albanian community, and these people were punished by the KLA both before 1999 and after. The same situation now applies for the Serbs. To join the KPS or KSF means to buy into the system, but this time the system is Albanian run.

Same situation, roles are reversed: buy into the system = become a Quisling. So you can find ways to explain, and excuse your parallel institutions in the 1990s but you can't find ways to explain Serb parallel institutions post-2000.

Albanezi - you're right. it's far worse for Serbs. As soon as they open their mouths and betray their ethnicity they are either beaten up or murdered which is why they need 24 hour security 10 YEARS after the war ended. Albanians won't be happy until the last Serb leaves Kosovo. This is the albanain idea of multi ethnicity - pity they can't count beyond 1.

They are not places you would expect to see a policeman anyway.

You created the parallel (note the correct spelling) because you didn't want to live in the state you were citizens of. Of course many Albanians were loyal to Serbia and Yugoslavia and were targets of the KLA.

Lazar, bring up an Albanian who can defend your saying (that most of the Albanians suffered more during and/or after the NATO bombings) and then we'll have a discussion!

Great words Mr. Basha, see you this summer in Dhermi!

Greets from Prishtina!

It is a well known fact that NATO's bombing only harmed the position of the albanians, and it harmed them greatly. The West predicted that this will happen. A good book that describes this is new military humanism, by chomsky. The US had no goal to help the albanians - if they wanted to help then bombing would have been the last resort option. But they decided to bomb anyways. Indeed, it is also noted everywhere that the vast majority of the hardships that took place, for the albanians, happened after the bombing began. The serbs retaliated to the bombing. Albanians had even made a statement to NATO that said "please stop helping us". Heck, NATO even bombed their refugee column in one instance.

Now juxtapose this with Serbs attempting to established so-called "parallel institutions" and they're screaming foul and calling on the international community to enforce compliance over a bunch of unruly minorities. Hmmm, similar to what Belgrade was trying prior to 1999.

Another example of "if the law works against me, circumvent it. If the law works in my favor, crush dissent."

Radoslav

Plenty of lies here as expected. The simple fact is that Albanians and Serbs don't want to live together as evidenced by 100 years of albo's causing trouble within what is now serbia, to live separately.

The albanians don't want to integrate the serbs, exactly the opposite. they want to ethnically cleanse them. this has also been happening over the last 100 years. take a look at the "mother" country - albania. it has a tiny minority, why? they are an intolerant society - what irony considering they want to enter Europe. maybe there is a grand plan to ethnically cleanse europe over the next few hundred years of all native populations.

"An attempt to prevent the integration of Serbs into the institutions and the social life of Kosovo is a true threat to the stability of Priština," - serbs don't want to be a part of an albanian kosovo as third class citizens - even though serbian is an "official" language of kosovo, try speaking serbian in kosovo and se what will happen. so much for an equal tolerant society. Kosovo simply doesn't have what it takes to be a state. Compare it to big bad serbia where tens of thousands of kosovo albanians, albanians, muslims and croats live freely with no problems.

"accept the new political reality that was the only solution for the stability of the Balkans and for creating conditions to open the doors of European integrations for Serbia and Kosovo" the only reality you need to accept basha is the fact that if kosovo is given independence by serbia then lose northern kosovo to serbia which is where it rightly belongs (like the rest of kosovo). there is NO reason whatsoever for you to stake a claim to the north. hardly any albanians live there and according to yourself, it's full of troublemakers. but thenagain, you are just following your masters orders to keep saying all this rubbish because you know what wealth there is under the north. this is the ONLY reason why you (your masters in the West)want to keep the north.

"Albanians and Serbs living together in Kosovo still seems very difficult, but not impossible". dead wrong. thanks to your kin murdering and raping any civilian that steps out from under UN protection - free movement, hahaha, what free movement. kosovo is the world's largest open prison.

Kosovo made "unthinkable success" really! would you care to enlighten us. it's barely changed. just more propaganda for western media.

"started to stop the ethnic cleansing that the Serbian army and police were perpetrating" the only ethnic cleansing that occurred was orchestrated by the KLA to give the impression that it was the serbs.

the whole world knows these issues which is why kosovo has had such limited backing for it's bid for independence. the US, EU and some far eastern allies have recognised Kosovo. who are the other states to have recognised kosovo? island states.....and guess what. they are all US protectorates.

The world isn't stupid. they know that Kosovo's independence is all about an energy and resource grab by the US and EU, similar to Iraq.

and are you going to claim that it's the "free world", the "greatest democracies" that have recognised your claim for independence? some free world. which other great democracy do you know that has invaded so many countries on such a regular basis over the decades and which has lied to the world to achieve it's ends - the US and Iraq's invasion. weapons of mass destruction? where. the murder of HUNDRED's of THOUSANDS of inocent civilians in Iraq. for what? to gain access and control Iraq's oil supply.

Seems like Albanians have a natural attraction to states which commit mass murder - Turks, Germans and lately the US.

let's all be honest. Kosovo's "independence" suits two objectives - 1) US control over Kosovo's coal supplies (the rest of the minerals are just a small bonus) 2) the albanians nationalist agenda of a Greater Albania.

We know it's true and so do you, so stop waffling about other reasons for "independence", they simply don't wash.

What Lulzim failed to mention is that there are tensions in Mitrovica because the Albanians want the Serbs to leave and are doing everything in their power to achieve that. The terrorist albanian caught with a grenade yesterday is yet another proof of that.

Another example of "if the law works against me, circumvent it. If the law works in my favor, crush dissent."

Lazar, bring up an Albanian who can defend your saying (that most of the Albanians suffered more during and/or after the NATO bombings) and then we'll have a discussion!

Great words Mr. Basha, see you this summer in Dhermi!

Greets from Prishtina!

Mike, do you even know why we created paralel institutions? Because we were not allowed to decide for ourselves anymore. all the institutions were closed for albanians...you could not find an albanian policeman walking insided a station or the parliament, or the hospital, or the university or the high school!!! The situation for Serbs today is different, we have opened all the doors for them to be active in every aspect of the daily life. Hence you cannot draw any comparison to the paralel institutions of the Albanians then and the Serbs now!

They are not places you would expect to see a policeman anyway.

You created the parallel (note the correct spelling) because you didn't want to live in the state you were citizens of. Of course many Albanians were loyal to Serbia and Yugoslavia and were targets of the KLA.

There is a song:
"America and Graet Britany will be countries of proleters". Can you see it is coming? He, he, Kosovo was occupied many times and survived, our monuments were built and destroyed many times but they are still there talking about history.
