This Empire thinks that money grows on trees. For a long time they lived the high life ..... on credit. When you spend, spend and spend money which you don't have, the day of reckoning must come.

The policies of the US government are not only morally bankrupt, but it seems they are getting the the point of being monetarily bankrupt too now. The sooner the better.

Maybe we can ask the K_Albanians to give back some of that 400 million we are giving them? Amazing, the Emipe crumbles yet keeps trying to expand. When the lunatics run the asylum, the results cannot be sane.

But real people are getting crushed, & reverberations will be felt around the globe - those morgage investment packages were sold, repackaged & sold-on etc everywhere.

If the US sinks, it'll take everyone else down with them. Everyone else in the world has been lending them the money that they have been happily spending. If they don't, won't , or can't pay back the debt, it's value to foreign lenders will diminish. Nobody wants to see that happening. Whether the world likes it or not, the US has them by the balls financially.

Not 100% agree with Zoran but almost. AFAIK, it's a bit more complicated: USA balls are hold by China (manufacturing), Chinese balls are hold by Russia (raw materials) and Russian/Chinese/European balls are hold by USA (finances).

This set-up means, one is going down, the rest of the two will feel the pain - but the smaller players will feel the REAL pain. YU, Central Europe, etc. do belong to the smaller players. So if America (or Russia or China) is having a flu, the small players have pneumonia. The fact, I have pneumonia does not make me happier if I know, somebody else is having a lung cancer.

But don't worry: the neo-cons and their Saudi friends are healthy and happy.
