Feith: EU to assume full control on June 15

"EULEX Chief Pieter Feith said in Priština yesterday that his mission would assume all responsibilities in Kosovo on June 15, in line with the Ahtisaari Plan."

What bombastic grandstanding! For a mission that must take place without UN approval.

Does anyone know what this "Ahtisaari Plan" is supposed to be? I have a vague recollection but I can't seem to remember. Oh well, it musn't have been important.

Anyway, this guy just seems to be talking in Priština, the place of make believe, so I assume it's for local consumption.

The Ahtisaari Plan? I don't recall this being approved by the Security Council. So it has absolutely no legal standing. It would therefore seem that once again the UN is being sidelined and the body of international law that it represents counts for nothing. God knows where all this will end.

The Ahtisaari Plan was not approved; EULEX has no legal mandate to take over; and the UN has confirmed that 1244 remains in place.

Mr Feith is whistling in the wind!

Who gave them such a power ? Serbia is not a EU member. Neither is K&M province. Neither do they have such a permission fron EU. Besides they formally assume the UN leading role in international events. So it's just a new violation of the law and nothing else.

Feith : EU to face complete disaster on May 11-th!

Feith said that his mission, like Sweden, was determined to implement the plan for Kosovo’s status. What kind of fictional status dose he have in mind is it to be a colony of Brussels empire.
“I think that Sweden will, in future, continue to advise and support the international civil office to take full responsibility on June 15,” Feith concluded. So when it all blows up I think the so innocent simpletons hypocrites in Brussels can put the blame on Sweden and of course lets not forget on rest of Serbia.

Yes Mr Thief you take full control of the 'few' ethnic Albanians who have accepted you as their master but as for the rest of the non-Albanian population in Serbia's province you have no influence and no crediblity to do anything!

15th June will just be another of those days to come and go and continue with the deceit that some still dream is going to happen wierdly some believe it has happened but fool you twice is all I'd say!!! One wonders what will such people do when they do awaken from this slumber of deceit into the reality that nothing has changed nor will ever change until the UN SC pass a new resolution (i.e an agreement that is accpetable to all not one imposed on one side).

EU's INLEX (Lawless) mission applies only to those who accept it and reality is no economic development will ever occur while the fundamental of property rights remains uncertain! Once more we will hear of Donor conference where the western consultants will line up for jobs to recycle this so called 'development aid' back o the countries of origin and little 'actual' economic development will occur in Serbia's province for a few more years.

For those who may suggest I know little look back and see who has been the head of UNMIK each and every year for the last 9 years and you'll note an EU representative at the helm - and what has happened for economic and social development in that time?

The fact remains little has occured in the last 9 years and even less is likely to given this Lawless (INLEX) mission applies only to those who accept it in totality (should I say totalitarian) as their master! In the meanwhile this gives greater opportunities for Serbia's institutions to grow stronger and stronger in its province by such lawlessness!!!

Yes, and this will be a Serbian/Russian carrot. E.U. will jump on it like a hungry rabbit. Question, what to ask for in exchange? Oh, there are few things with visas, economy, etc.
