"Therefore, our future and our eternity will depend on this choice we make," the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) dignitary said."

Eternity? Does it mean that one could go to hell or paradise, depending on how one votes?

So speaks the theocracy. Find who he's supporting, and vote against.

Kosova is the "heart" of Serbia, is it? Like Constantinople is the heart of Greece, Kiev the heart of Russia, and "judea and Samaria" Ie occupied Palestinian West Bank) the "heart" of Israel

to american eagle,
daili lama has no choice:he knows that you will never renounce to your trade with china for the sake of the tibetan people...So he tries thesoft manner, just as Rugova did.
But this will not last,a new generation is coming in tibet ,just as it happened in kosovo, because now the choice for tibetan is to die as a nation or to accept chinisation!

Come on Rusty, you really didn't believe that line about a multi-ethnic Kosovo that the Albanians promised, did you? I’ve lived with the Albanians long enough to realize that it was just a line to try to convince everyone that they could be trusted with their own country. Everyone should have seen the truth when the government officials were saying that they couldn’t live with the Serbians again, yet promised to treat everyone fairly. The only thing I ever hear from the Albanians in Kosovo is about how bad Serbs are. They make no distinction between the people and the government. I have yet to meet one who has anything good to say about Serbians.

Too bad the Albanians don’t think like the Dalai Lama. I was reading an article where he said the Tibetans referred to the Chinese invaders as “bad communists” and not “bad Chinese”. They were educated enough to realize you don’t judge a people by its government.

without Kosovo, "Serbia is an empty shell..."

I was always wondering how you can call a heart of your nation a land where you don't live, and moreover, you don’t want to live (if Serbs wanted they would’ve colonise Kosova as they did with Vojvodina).

Yes, it looks to me as "empty shell" too Bishop Artemje- of course your hegemonic political reckoning not Serbia.

“I would like to remind your bishop that the fate of Kosova has long been known and should not concern him. Kosova belongs to Kosover Albanians who will take care of it with great pride!”

My understanding is that Kosovo ‘belongs’ to all its citizens, irrespective of ethnicity or religion.

Have we been misled?

As there is no such entity as 'Kosova', you're welcome to disappear into it.

Bye.

Again, I follow this Serbophobe. He/she must live at B92. Serbia is Serbia with or without Europe.

Fortunately for Tadic, the Serbian Orthodox Church does not have an extensive tradition of excommunication; otherwise he would have been kicked out by now.
