Apropos, Maglić. How far the "Serbian Sixtine Chapele" as it is called is from Maglić? What is it's real name?

1) ca. 150 km in the South
2) ca. 20 km westwards
3) ca. 200 km to the South-West

Remember: Kosovo is Serbia. Easy question. (Инженер Карасик, 19 July 2020 12:13)

I assume that you are referring to the Patriarchate of Peć. I don't remember the exact details of the structure except that there were three churches together in one (of various ages), and one of them gives me the closest impression to the Sistine Chapel that I recall in that region. But the greatest impression was left by the monk who refused to talk to me when he learned that I am American but later wanted to sit down to drink juice when he learned that I have Serbian ancestry.

"Sixtine Chapele" is about frescoes, Peć is OK, but it is not (that much) about frescoes.
Wasn't in Peć really. Three times promised to visit the monastery - but always something happened. The last time was my E-85 gasoline fiasco when I landed up at the Hyundai dealership in PS instead of monastery in Peć.

So no, Peć is like Žiča: about hideous exterior red paint and unprofessional restauration with materials made in China. Not about being Serbia's "Sixtine Chapele".

We have two other options left.

I was in Kosovo over the weekend. Please answer one question: how much does the putarina cost from Pristina to Suva Reka if you take route E-851?
(Atamanov brat od strica, 5 August 2020 16:46)

Mid-2010-s there was no putarina in any form in Kosovo, only borderline fee.
That is still of certain controversy because it seem, the amount is not fixed on a fair and clear basis: "it depends on". I usually payed something in 28 Euro range, than things went very interesting way.

The clarification of this would be good, the only person who should know the exact procedure is "Just saying..." because according him he checks the passports and it's his duty to know the process (I am talking about "Byroja Kosovare e Sigurimit").

How much you paid this weekend? I assume, you asked for "15 Ditë".

A month ago it was quite discriminating, now - without B92 reporting it - it is very reasonable and does not seem to be discriminating against Serbs anymore.

There was other weirdness with it as it changed on every crossing point!
Not anymore, I guess, Corona made them change.

Serbs doing what Serbs know the best, harming the frail and the defenceless. Always were and always will.

Beware of caravan thieves. Avoid by all means.
