Serbia should accept this apology but within France someone should be held accountable.
Also, German representation should have had NO seat, along with the imaginary "Kosova" which is as fake as the "Kosovars" that waste everyone's time on this site.

What a mess. He does not know the protocol. He should first bow to Monsieur D’argon de Riac, than to Thomaso L'Orizzi, C-nt of Kosova.

Chi where have I “ revised history” ?

I speak the truth but your conscience labels this medicine as bad .

Better job next time.

I won’t be scooping to your level and call you an idiot but don’t worry you show that everyday on you comments. I still find it childish how you serbs reacted to this “provokacijaaa”! Blah, blah you were on this side that side it does not matter here, what matters here is how immature and childish the Serbian politicians/people are and making this SEAT a big deal. Blah, blahh losing side? You calling someone losing side but most of you celebrations are on losing side, yeahhh we lost that’s why we declared independence, It’s simply not normal and very low how you serbs behave.
(Mendo, 13 November 2018 00:39)

Mendo, my Albanian friend, history does matter - because we're supposed to learn from it so we don't make the same mistakes over and over. Once you, Genti, Azir, and Lenard the Croat, stop trying to revise history, maybe, just maybe, we can move forward and come up with some type of resolution that would work for both our people. With this said, I respond to you people with disdain because in most cases you deserve it. Don't say anything stupid, and I won't respond like I do. This could be a good forum if it wasn't for a few exceptional cases, the aforementioned. So, speak truthfully, don't be a revisionist, and don't spew hate and maybe we can have adult conversations here. Cheers...

That is how the Serbian army survived WW1, while the traitor Esat found the patriot's bullet at the Paris conference. His grave is still in Belgrade, where he was honored as the one who saved the Serbian army. This is not much to be proud of Serbs, stop acting like heroes.

Just for you edification Esat Pashe Toptani is buried in the Serbian military cemetery section in Paris numb nuts.

"what happened with the seating arrangement during the WW1 ceremony was "regrettable"

What is regrettable is that Serbia claims to have been among the victors of WW1, even though Serbia had the most embarrassing record during the war. The Serbian army escaped the battlefield and ran away towards Greece while Bulgarians chased behind them. The Serbian army managed to escape and retreat through Albania after the traitor Esat Pashe Toptani allowed them free passage.

An apology? Is anyone really buying this BS? If Serbian politicians are serving this BS to their people then they are just as bad if not worse.
Stop feeding your people BS and start working for the good of Serbia.
Nothing is accidental. Like the saying goes, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

If this apology makes you serbs happy that’s fine by us but it does not change the fact that Mr Thaçi was siting along world powers. I personally find it very, very funny that people are making this a discussion but each to their own. For me Mr Thaçi could have sat right at the end of the que as long as he respected the fallen soldiers.
(Mendo, 12 November 2018 16:56)

Mendo, do you really want to know what is very, very funny? That the Albanians sided with Austro-Hungry in the first WW and with the Nazis in the second WW. What's funny (ironic is the better word) is that they even allowed an Albanian to the memorial service - twice you were on the losing side, and this will continue. If you really believe that the Europeans want religious, bottom of the barrel, Albanian Terrorists roaming around, you might just be a red neck (I mean idiot)...

Not really. Its politics and nothing more. If you think the west went into Kosovo because of your Albos then you’re a simpleton. If Milosevic allowed the US into Serbia freely Belgrade could have eliminated the Albanians and not a peep would have been heard.
Montenegro is only doing what master wants. Djukanovic is president for life and he only does what the US wants and because Serbs don’t bow they are trying to do in Montenegro what Tito did and that is create the Montenegrin and not Serb.
Funny though they held a survey there in the last couple of years and out of 620,000 about 450,000 declared themselves eastern orthodox i.e Serbian.
Thieving is thieving and sadly for you Serbs don’t put up with it.

Following the flag Faux Pa you would think such an "accident" would be almost impossible, thus have to say this apology is frankly disingenuous.

I understand and appreciate the delicate diplomacy a President must take so let's not blame the decency of our officials who paid their respects fully and without issue and continue to command the moral high ground as difficult as the West make it. We shall focus on looking for compromise while just getting on with making sure our sovereignty economically and in time politically and if need be militarily is upheld - as is the right of all UN recognised states.

Personally pandering to the west is wasted effort as exampled by such low and "purposeful" faux Pa's. Focus on what is of Serbia's interest and reforms that are right for Serbia as its clear the EU is stalled and offers bigger sticks than carrots.

Your excellency, Mr. ambassador, it is not up to you to apologize for what was planned long time ago. The aim of President Macron’s speech was “the reconciliation”, but in the same time, something else.

Wake up and smell the coffee. France and Germany fought against each other in two major wars, today they're best of friends. USA nuked Japan, today they're best of allies.

In 1918 you might have been on the same side, but in 1999 the same allies bombed you. They had a great reason to do that. You did the same thing Germany did in 1914 and 1941. Politics of today has nothing to do with politics of 1918.

In 100 years you managed from a great friend/ally (Montenegro) to create an enemy. Doesn't that tell you that everybody is against you for a reason.

I don’t know why Vucic gets so excited about Merkel, macron coming or whoever.
Relating to W Balkans, policy is decided by the administrative state, bureaucrats deep within the bowels of these foreign ministries who are hanging around from the old days because no one else wants the job.
These bureaucrats consider Kosovo their Frankenstein, and wont give it up no matter who says what. Be it merkel, macron or whoever. A change in policy would make them failures and they wont let that happen.

sj

The positioning was no mistake. They do not make mistakes of this nature otherwise they would have placed the Ukrainian President next to Putin.
This is a subtle message by the US to Serbia that they are not happy with Serbia's stance with Kosovo and Serbians rebuffing US efforts at rekindling a relationship with Belgrade. In other words Kyle Scott, despite speaking Serbian, has made no inroads whatsoever. As I said many times they think if their people are brainwashed everyone is the same.
It only shows how low they have sunk. For the French ambassador to apologise to Vucic and Serbia only means that this came direct from Paris - He would have to get clearance from the highest levels in Paris before making such a statement.
As far as the US is concerned, what can you say? its a country where a few years back they tested their high school children and on the question of when did the American civil war start 74% had no idea some even said 1770 - case closed LOL.

Cheers...

Chi where have I “ revised history” ?

I speak the truth but your conscience labels this medicine as bad .

Obviously NATO did an excellent job knocking some sense in your thick skulls !

Better job next time.

Serbia should accept this apology but within France someone should be held accountable.
Also, German representation should have had NO seat, along with the imaginary "Kosova" which is as fake as the "Kosovars" that waste everyone's time on this site.

"French ambassador offers apology to Vucic and to Serb nation"

What a mess. He does not know the protocol. He should first bow to Monsieur D’argon de Riac, than to Thomaso L'Orizzi, C-nt of Kosova.

Blah, blah you were on this side that side it does not matter here,
===================
If history didn't matter you wouldn't be trying to rewrite it all the time.
