Novi Sad's EXIT music festival ended late on Sunday with a Sex Pistols' concert. The band, described as "probably the most important and influential punk-rock bank in history" performed in Serbia 30 years after creating a revolution in the international mass culture. The concert was the crown of this year's festival, highlighting punk, the music genre which locally found the most fertile ground precisely in Novi Sad in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The four-day EXIT 08, hosted, among others, U.S. hip-hop outfit N.E.R.D., New York Gypsy punkers Gogol Bordello and one of the favorites with the audiences, Manu Chao.
