The Serbian Embassy in Libya is in contact with the Serbian citizens in the country and none of them are in any danger, Serbian Ambassador Oliver Potezica said. “There are between 100 and 150 Serbian citizens in Tripoli, and the embassy is in constant touch with them. Understandably, they are upset but not as much as one might expect,” he added. Embassy: Serbians in Libya safe “There are as many Serbian citizens in other parts of the country, mostly medical personnel, and they are going about their job normally,” the ambassador remarked, adding that they were completely safe and in contact with the embassy. “The Serbian embassy is among the 50 or 60 embassies in Libya that are still open and it is working normally,” Potezica stressed. "The situation is monitored carefully. We have planned everything out and prepared ourselves and we hope things are going to calm down," he concluded. (FoNet)
