B92 understands that the police, in cooperation with the prosecution and the military security services, have arrested 6 people on suspicion of abuse of office. According to a statement from the Defense Ministry, the suspects, believed to have committed abuses during the allocation of flats, include Colonel Miroslav Radovanovic from the Military Medical Center, Defense Ministry officials Branko Losic and Srboljub Stojanac, retired Majors Vladan Lausevic and Jovo Cevap, and retired Sergeant Major Ivko Lisica. "The Serbian Defense Ministry, with the cooperation of the Interior Ministry, started this operation on February 10, when 17 people were taken into custody, and in the course of this afternoon another six people have been arrested," Sutanovac said. He said that three of the suspects were employees of the Defense Ministry, while the other three were pensioners, adding that the operation would continue.
