Vucic "certain of IMF's positive assessment"

Vucic underscored at a news briefing that the implementation of the IMF program is developing very well.

“If I am allowed I would like to say a few days before the IMF final conference that Serbia has met its program obligations and I am certain that it will get a positive assessment from this financial institution. This means that we have worked very hard and acted responsibly by making important steps,” Vucic said.

The proof of a serious and stable country is a good balance of fiscal and monetary policies with a low inflation rate, he added.

“We would like it if the inflation were somewhat higher and that we now have a greater GDP growth. I am certain that the IMF will change its assessment for 2015 and that it will be +0.5 instead of -1,” Vucic said.
