Town to award best students with European trip

The best high school students from the town of Sabac will be taking a town-funded trip to Budapest and Krakow. The Sabac youth office has organized a five-day European trip for 16 high school students. Town to award best students with European trip The students who have had great academic success over the course of the school year and have never left the country before, have been awarded for their achievements. Office Coordinator Ana Lazic said that the students will learn many useful things during their trip. “This is and educational trip for all young people who have not had the chance to travel, eiher because their schools do not fund trips or because of their financial shortcomings. We are giving them a trip that will allow them to travel how young people travel, to see what hostels are, what the advantages and faults of other countries are, to see who lives there, and to be able to take back positive experiences to use in our town later,” she said. Passports are being prepared for those who never had their's issued because they never needed the documents before. The trip will begin on Sunday.
