Power restored in one more Serb village

Electricity has been restored in the Kosovo Serb village of Pasjane after residents paid EUR 26 per household to the Kosovo Electric Corporation (KEK). Gnjilane Municipal President Predrag Stojkovic told the Tanjug news agency that electricity had been restored to the village on Monday afternoon, and that Korminjane was the only village in the region that was still without power, because residents had yet to reach a payment agreement with KEK. All the other villages in Gnjilane and Kosovska Kamenica municipalities paid the agreed amount and received electricity,” Stojkovic said. More than 15 Serb villages in central Kosovo were left without electricity for over a month, and electricity was turned off in Korminjane a week ago.
