SANU, University, French Academy sign agreement

The Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU), the Belgrade University and the French Academy of Sciences on Friday signed an agreement in Belgrade on Friday. The document provides for continuation of cooperation on promotion of science and development of an internet presentation for education-related programs. SANU, University, French Academy sign agreement The agreement, signed by SANU President Nikola Hajdin, Belgrade University Rector Branko Kovacevic and French Academician Pierre Lena, will provide for the implementation of the project aimed at bringing science closer to children of the age of 4-11. Signing the Agreement, Hajdin said that it gives the copyrights for the translation of the best website in Europe intended for teachers. “Our teachers will get an exceptional source for their work with children and a possibility to communicate with their colleagues abroad. Another words, they will get closer to the scientific and education communities,” said Hajdin. Serbia is the first country in the region to sign such an agreement with the French Academy of Sciences, while Lena evaluated the agreement as very important for further development of cooperation between the two countries in the area of science.
