Drunken policeman takes colleagues hostage

The incident occurred in the afternoon, after a brigade party.

The officer had drinks at the celebration, went to the surveillance booth in front of the station and then returned to the brigade building.

Armed with a handgun, he entered the office and aimed at the officer on call, who was alone in the office, and held him captive for several minutes.

He then left the office, went down the hallway to the deputy commander’s office, and held him hostage for about half an hour.

In that time, the first officer held captive went to get assistance, after which negotiations began. The officer was then subdued and according to the daily’s source, sat in a chair and began to cry.

Blic found out that the officer was known as being “problematic,” and prone to incidents.

“He was suspended several times, and was recently sentenced to six months in prison. He has been suspended again in light of this incident and charges have been pressed against him. Since he is still on probation, he will be taken to prison,” the source said.
