All three border crossings covered by the Vrsac, northeastern Serbia, customs office were closed until 15:00 CET on Monday. This came due to a warning strike of Romanian border officials, the Serbian Customs Administration said. Travelers leaving Serbia were warned by the Customs Administration and the police that the crossings were closed, but were allowed to proceed if they wished. Unless the Romanian government and the strikers reach agreement shortly, a general strike of the public administration in Romania has been announced for Wednesday.
