SNS deputy leader Aleksandar Vucic said that his Serbian Progressive Party will be participating in this year’s elections in Bosnia. Vucic said that he is not sure whether the party would participate on its own or as part of a coalition. SNS to participate in Bosnian elections “In what ever form we participate, everyone will be surprised with the results,” Vucic said. He said that SNS wants to win in the Republic of Srpska political market, not just participate. Vucic said that the SNS party in RS will decide in which way it will participate in the October elections through talks with SNS headquarters in Serbia, adding that the SNS in RS is an autonomous political party that shares the ideas and values of SNS Serbia. He said that the work of the SNS in RS thus far has been “of low intensity, because SNS officials did not want to make many public appearances, but slowly prepare for the formation and strengthening of the party.” Vucic said that his party will protect the territorial integrity of RS within Bosnia-Herzegovina and its national interests, but that it will lead it into the future as well, and in the fight against crime and corruption, while working towards economic and social improvements for the citizens. The SNS in RS was founded in 2009, and the leader of the party is Luka Kecman.
