An earthquake measuring 4.1 Richter scale this morning caused damage to transformer stations in the Sarajevo canton. Some large city districts were left in the dark as fires broke out at the stations, but workers are repairing the damage and authorities say they expect the situation to normalize. Sarajevo: Quake causes blackouts Mt. Ozren, some 16 kilometers northeast of Sarajevo, was marked as the epicenter of the quake that hit at 03:46 CET. Previously, on Monday afternoon, another earthquake measuring 3.3 Richter was recorded in Sarajevo, but it did not cause any material damage.

Mt. Ozren, some 16 kilometers northeast of Sarajevo, was marked as the epicenter of the quake that hit at 03:46 CET.

Previously, on Monday afternoon, another earthquake measuring 3.3 Richter was recorded in Sarajevo, but it did not cause any material damage.
