Citizens mostly complain about gender-based discrimination, primarily against women, and discrimination against persons with disabilities and the Roma.

Women discriminated against during employment process

According to the commissioner's annual report, submitted to the National Assembly on Tuesday, complaints about gender-based discrimination make up 22.1 percent, ethnicity-based complaints make up 18.4 percent, disability-based ones make up 11.3 and those age-based make up 9.4 percent of all complaints.

Discrimination usually occurs during employment process or at the workplace and complainants here are mostly women, while men complaint more in other areas.
