Speaking during the gathering dedicated to the agreements reached between Belgrade and Pristina, including that to form the Community, that was attended by Albanian media and representatives of civil society and historians, Kurti announced that "this fall, winter, and spring in Kosovo will be fierce like never before."

According to the Pristina-based Albanian language paper Koha Ditore, he said the ZSO was "not acceptable," adding, "we will organize protests, demonstration, and mobilize people."

Kurti, who is a member of the assembly in Pristina, also "announced new political earthquakes in Kosovo."

The EU, which mediates in the Brussels talks, "has not been realistic in the negotiations," and "recognizes Serbia, but not Kosovo," he said.

Kurti thinks that "in the talks between Belgrade and Pristina history has been halted and all that is mentioned is the future."

"Everything in this dialogue revolves around the structures of Serbia in Kosovo. These structures are Milosevic's and we (Albanians) have understood the mediators badly calling them friends, while they are only the middlemen. When they talk to foreigners our politicians often say that NATO liberated us and that we owe a debt to NATO," Kurti said, adding this was "a big mistake that benefits the Serbs."

"We should say that we are grateful to NATO for what it did during the last three months of the war in Kosovo," he said.

Kurti also criticized Albanian PM Edi Rama for "daring to mention only once and never again Kosovo's independence" when he met with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic, "after which he compensates with demands for visa liberalization for Kosovo."
