According to a Serbian government statement, they discussed "relations between the two countries and the role of Serbia as chairman of the OSCE in Ukraine's crisis."

Vucic "stressed that Serbia is doing everything in order to objectively and impartially assist in resolving any disputes and problems in the territory of Ukraine."

As stated, it was concluded that it is necessary for Serbia and Ukraine "to work more on the establishment of closer bilateral political, and especially economic relations."

Vucic and Proshenko "also exchanged invitations for visits by delegations of Serbia and Ukraine at the highest level, and agreed on the continuation of regular communication on all important issues," said the statement.

Vucic "thanked Poroshenko for Ukraine's support for the territorial integrity of Serbia," while Poroshenko "thanked the government of Serbia for its clear stance on the issue of Ukrainian sovereignty."
