BELGRADE The Constitutional Court of Serbia has not considered a request of Kosovo Serbs to assess the constitutionality of a government decision on deals with Pristina. This is according to Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) official Marko Jaksic who was one of the Kosovo Serb representatives who filed the request to assess the constitutionality of the Serbian government's decision to implement agreements reached with Pristina “Constitutional Court ignores Kosovo Serbs” He reiterated that the Constitutional Court had assured them several times, both orally and in writing, that their request would be considered by the end of March. “We can see that the Constitutional Court will not keep its word,” Jaksic stressed. According to him, the Community of Serb Municipalities, representatives of Kosovo Serbs and DSS in November requested from the Constitutional Court to assess the constitutionality of four regulations on the cadastre and birth records, customs, borders and university diplomas. Jaksic pointed out that the Community would after April 2 and the eighth round of the Belgrade-Pristina talks in Brussels between Serbian and Kosovo PMs Ivica Dacic and Hashim Thaci decide on its further steps, bearing in mind that they still had not received a response from the Constitutional Court. “We are waiting for April 2 to see what will happen. We will not stop and we will take similar actions in April, we will not keep quiet,” he underscored.
