According to the daily, the parties that will take part in the government have only made a rough division of ministries. "New Serbian government to have 16 ministries" It will be known in the next several days whether any other parliamentary party will join the future majority, the daily says. It is almost certain that the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic will along with the prime minister’s position keep the Interior Ministry. SPS official Milutin Mrkonjic will remain the infrastructure minister and Zarko Obradovic will remain the education minister, the daily writes. SPS deputy leader and former Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic will probably became a health minister. “The ministry represents a big challenge but I have not received an official offer yet,” she told Vecernje novosti. The Progressives will probably run the Foreign Ministry, Justice Ministry, Defense Ministry, Energy Ministry, Agriculture Ministry, Culture and Sport Ministries. However, the daily says that the SNS wants to control security services, especially the Security-Information Agency (BIA). According to the daily, it is still uncertain which post SNS acting leader Aleksandar Vucic will take. Vecernje novosti has learnt that he still has not accepted any position in the new government and it has not been ruled out that he would not be a part of Dacic’s cabinet. The daily writes that SNS official Jorgovanka Tabakovic could be the new National Bank of Serbia (NBS) governor. New Serbia (NS) leader Velimir Ilic should allegedly get the Agriculture Ministry. Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic’s advisor Oliver Antic could be the next justice minister, according to the daily’s sources. United Regions of Serbia (URS) leader Mladjan Dinkic should take over the Finance Ministry while his deputy Verica Kalanovic should get the Economy and Regional Development Ministry. Ethnic minority parties could also join Dacic’s government. Sulejman Ugljanin’s Party of Democratic Action (SDA) could join the cabinet and All Together coalition’s Emir Elfic has stated he would support the majority if the government changed its position on Sandzak and ethnic minorities.
