President Boris Tadic says it would be "good if regional states supported the candidacy of Serbian FM Vuk Jeremic for president of the UN General Assembly". At a news conference after the trilateral meeting between Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia on Mt. Jahorina near Sarajevo on Friday, the Serbian president pointed out that it would be best if regional votes are unified on all regional issues, including Jeremic's candidacy. President: Support Jeremic for UNGA president At the same time he noted that he "did not deny the right of both states and individuals to hold a different position on any issue". According to the host, Chairman of the Bosnia Presidency and Croat member of this body Zeljko Komsic, Jeremic's candidacy was not discussed at the trilateral meeting. "I am against the candidacy. That is my personal opinion. I am not sure that he deserves my trust," Komsic underlined. The presidents of Serbia and Croatia Boris Tadic and Ivo Josipovic remained at the mountain resort on Friday evening after the confrence ended due to bad weather and road conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tadic and Josipovic postponed their return to Belgrade and Zagreb, because snow and low temperatures are hindering traffic on the roads in this and other parts of Bosnia, as is the case throughout much of the region.
