Serbian parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic has stated that she does not expect that parliamentary elections will be held before December. “There is a legal deadline. 45 to 60 days need to pass from the moment the elections are called until they are held so all actions envisaged by the law could be realized,“ she explained. Speaker: Elections won’t be held before December Djukic-Dejanovic pointed out that even if the elections were held early it would only happen in case parliament was blocked and unable to work. “In that case the president would probably dissolve parliament, but I don’t expect that,” the speaker concluded.
