Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said on Thursday that he does not intend to resign. He also expressed his conviction that he will win in the elections for vice-presidents of the ruling Democatic Party (DS). Media speculations that Jeremic might be relieved of office were denied two days ago by Serbian President and DS leader Boris Tadic. Asked whether he thinks that he will win in the elections for DS vice-presidents on December 18, Jeremic said he would not run if he believed otherwise. He did not wish to disclose any further details about the DS convention, as the party has decided "not to let it be a topic for the media".
