Analyst: Koštunica won't turn to Radicals

“For the sake of the public and the majority of its voters inclined to object to such a coalition, a so called “popular collation” comprised of the DSS and the New Serbia (NS), would highly unlikely turn to the Radicals, particularly having in mind the international community that has been urging for a pro-European government,” Stojilković explained.

He also cited several other feasible scenarios for the outcome of the cabinet talks.

“The cabinet made of the Democratic Party (DS), DSS and G17 is the most probable option, while a DS-led minority government which would include the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and G17 Plus has small chances to succeed, since the G17 Plus already made arrangements with the DSS over the “sixth principle” of power sharing,” Stojilković concluded.
