Reconstructed railway station in Vrnjačka Banja was officially put into use Friday. State announced fresh investments.

He announced similar projects in the near future, as the funds valued at EUR 2.87mn would be set aside.“in the next two months, railway stations Vršac, Kikinda and Valjevo are in for restoration, whereas works near Bajmok and Negotin are already in progress,” Ilić said.
The reconstruction of 93 kilometers of Serbia’s railway portion of the Corridor 10 was underway as well.
According to Ilić, the European Investment Bank granted EUR 80mn loan for the Corridor 10 renovation purposes.
He reminded that each year the Serbian government subsidized the railway traffic with EUR 100mn, adding that electrification of the Dimitrovgrad railway and linking of the Belgrade-Bar railway with Corridor 10 were also been planned.
