On the occasion of the convictions of nine persons in the same case, and acquittal of two, Vekarić told reporters in front of the Special Court he was partly satisfied with the decision, announcing that appeal against the acquittals.The prosecution will also appeal against the length of sentences where they differ from the proposal of the prosecutor.
According to a statement, the prosecution during the closing arguments asked for more than 150 years combined for the 11 accused, including maximum sentences for Miladinović, Momić, Nikolić, and Mišić.
The deputy war crimes prosecutor said that the prosecution had proved that a crime was committed.
