Serbia seeks ex-tycoon's extradition

Serbian and Spanish officials will discuss the arrest and extradition of former director of the Serbian supermarket chain C Market Slobodan Radulovic. Radulovic is believed to be hiding in Spain, and he will be on the agenda of the Thursday meeting between Serbian Justice Minister Snezana Malovic and her Spanish counterpart Francisco Caamano Dominguez. Serbia seeks ex-tycoon's extradition Malovic, who is on a two-day working visit to Spain, will tell the Spanish minister that Radulovic is charged with organizing bankruptcy mafia in Serbia, and table the issue of his arrest and extradition to Serbia. Radulovic is at large since 2006, when he was placed on Interpol's Red Notice, and besides Spain, he was allegedly hiding in Montenegro as well. So far, he has not been arrested. The Serbian and Spanish ministers of justice are to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the two ministries in Madrid, and discuss the fight against organized crime, justice system reform and further steps in Serbia's EU integration process.
