A car bomb exploded in the Belgrade neighborhood of Banovo Brdo this evening, reports say. The incident took place near the Police Brigade headquarters there, according to Beta news agency. One person sustained grave injuries in the strong blast that shook the windows in nearby apartment blocks. Car bomb explodes in Belgrade Traffic has been blocked in the area, while investigation of the explosion site is ongoing. Policemen at the scene could not give any further details to reporters. Unofficially, B92 has learned form our MUP sources that the victim was the bomber himself, who apparently did not manage to plant the device properly.
