Alleged Nazi war criminal Peter Egner visited Crvenka three months ago, daily Vecernje Novosti writes. Hercen Radonjic, president of the Crvenka local council, said that Enger was one of several dozen Germans who came to Crvenka for the unveiling of a statue of the founder of the Vojvodina village. Nazi suspect visited Serbia recently Egner, his brother Dzordze, and sister Sofia visited a Catholic church on the morning of May 9, and the statue the next day. This was all captured on camera by Mira Bosnic, who the local council hired to film the visit. Egner was allegedly part of a Nazi police unit in German-occupied Serbia that murdered thousands of Serbs, Jews, and Roma during World War II at the Semlin (Old Fairground) concentration camp in Belgrade.
