Belgrade police have arrested 6 members of a group who produced and sold opiate drugs, and illegally kept weaponry. The Interior Ministry said that following months of intensive work in solving a number of murders in the capital, police had arrested Dejan P. (34), Jelena P. (27), Goran Dj. (33), Dalibor N. (36), Milivoj P. (72) and Blaginja P. (64). Police break Belgrade organized crime group In a statement, the ministry said that during searches of homes and garages police had discovered a large quantity of weapons and drugs--6 revolvers of various calibres and models, four bombs, two Hecklers, one Scorpion, three silencers, four kilos of heroin, 150 grammes of cocaine, and a kilo of paracetomol. The suspects will be brought before the investigative judge in Belgrade, and the police will continue their work into uncovering all of the circumstances surrounding the case, the statement concludes.

The suspects will be brought before the investigative judge in Belgrade, and the police will continue their work into uncovering all of the circumstances surrounding the case, the statement concludes.
