October inflation in Serbia at 0.2 percent
Consumer prices were in October 0.2 percent up on September this year, the Serbian Statistical Office announced on Tuesday.

BELGRADE Consumer prices were in October 0.2 percent up on September this year, the Serbian Statistical Office announced on Tuesday. Consumer prices saw a year-on-year rise of 2.2 percent in October, while they increased 2.6 percent when compared to December 2012. October inflation in Serbia at 0.2 percent If one is to classify products and services according to their purpose, in October the greatest price hikes, in comparison to September, were noted in the following groups: restaurants and hotels - 4.6 percent, recreation and culture- 2.5 percent, clothing and footwear- 1.2 percent. A price increase was also registered in the groups: alcoholic beverages and tobacco -0.6 percent, housing, water, electricity, other fuels and education-0.2 percent each, furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance 0.1 percent each. A drop in prices was registered in groups: transport - 0.7 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages - 0.3 percent and communications - 0.1 percent.
