A Serbian Finance Ministry official has announced that America Movil will buy tender documents in the process of the Telekom Srbija sale. State Secretary Vuk Djokovic told Tanjug on Sunday that the U.S. company owned by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim is expected to next week buy the documentation for the tender, that was called to sell a 51 percent stake in Serbia's state-owned telecommunications company. America Movil to bid for Telekom? The Ministry of Finance said that the deadline to buy the documentation was extended by two weeks, from November 25 to December 10, because of foreign companies' interest in Telekom. Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom and Telekom Austria have also purchased the documentation. The negotiations with the best bidder should start in February next year, while the money for the shares should be paid in mid-2011, the ministry stated.

Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom and Telekom Austria have also purchased the documentation.
