KEK urges Serbs not to pay bills Now KEK says EPS is doing its business in Kosovo “illegally”. “Based on the legal and regulatory framework from 2004, KEK is the only licensed operator for the whole territory of Kosovo. No other subject has been licensed to conduct any kind of activity,” a statement from the company said. It added that the issue amounts to “the rule of law”, and that KEK expects all organs in charge of implementing the law to “undertake appropriate measures to ensure support for the rule of law”. “Therefore, consumers in Kosovo should not make payments to Elektrokosmet or EPS, and should ignore the bills they received, and all other bills they will receive from Elektrokosmet/EPS,” said KEK.
