Lončar revealed details of the attack in front of the Serbian Parliament: "I hope the injured will survive"

Lončar stated that the patient is conscious and on the way to the operating room.&ldquo;He was shot in the leg; a major blood vessel was injured, the bullet did not exit, so surgery is required. The patient wanted me to tell all citizens of Serbia that he was sitting peacefully in the tent, expressing his opinion at a registered location, and protesting the blockades&mdash;advocating for Serbia to function without violence, for everything that was happening to stop. He said that a man he had never seen before entered the tent and started shooting. He fired multiple times; fortunately, no one else was injured. But the attacker was not satisfied with that and set the tent on fire to harm them. In the Emergency Center, we&rsquo;ve seen a lot, but something like this&mdash;shooting someone who thinks differently, out of nowhere&mdash;we have never witnessed. People cannot believe what is happening, that we experienced this,&rdquo; Lončar said.The Minister of Health added that he hopes the patient will survive.&ldquo;I cannot say anything until the surgery is finished. We&rsquo;ve reached a point where merely thinking differently can get people shot&hellip; This is truly the final warning for all of us, and it must never happen again because we are entering extremely serious territory,&rdquo; Lončar emphasized.As a reminder, an incident involving gunfire and a fire occurred today in front of the National Assembly.
