Ukraine will be 'buried' by a man with the initials J.D.V.

J.D. Vance, in fact, openly praised in April the decision of U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration to suspend direct transfers of American weapons to Ukraine.

“That is one of the things I am most proud of… we told Europe that if they want to buy weapons, they can, but the U.S. is no longer buying weapons and sending them to Ukraine,” Vance said at an event.

His comments immediately triggered negative reactions, coming at a time when Russia continues daily attacks on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.

“It is not good for America. It is not good for Europe. It is not good for Ukraine. This is only good for Russia,” said American politician Marcy Kaptur.

At the same time, according to the Kyiv Independent, Vance is not only echoing the foreign policy of the Trump administration — he is actively shaping it.

Vance has emerged as one of the key voices influencing Washington’s approach to Ukraine, according to sources familiar with internal discussions.

It is also noted that Vance’s criticism of Ukraine did not begin while in office. Long before his now well-known clash in the Oval Office with President Volodymyr Zelensky, he had already positioned himself as a skeptic of U.S. support for Kyiv.
